About Us

Marc and Steve have worked together as musicians and friends now for over 22 years. Along with Tony,(our German Branch) we played all over the world as a touring rock cover band. As time has moved on, and bands becoming more the exception than the norm, we all split into solo acts and have stayed friends for a large chunk of all of our lives.

Various studio experiences in the UK gave me the bug to do more recording. As string arranger and some keyboard work on Martin Barres (Jethro Tull) debut solo album, I got the chance to arrange for and conduct players from the London Concert Orchestra with their lead violin that day being Gavin Wright, just back fresh from recording Pat Metheny and having recently arranged all the string work for Level 42. I also got to visit some great studios in London during subsequent work on the back of those sessions, including a trip to the MILL in Cookham, Beds, once owned by Jimmy Page and housing one of Elton Johns many Grand Pianos. I also got to meet fellow Boro boy Chris Rea while having a break.

Anyway, through those long days with my mates Brad Davis, Jon Sweet and fat boy Tim Murray, we had a blast, did some great stuff recording and met some of the best musicians in the world. Classic FM gave me my first taste of the hectic scheduling of radio advertising back in the early 90's with voice overs like John Cleese the norm, and adverts being sent by courier by motor bike from studio to studio.
I even got to be full on musical director for a few projects and played many great theatres as band leader and keyboard player with some great old 50s acts like the Drifters and even further back artists like Max Bygraves, having the honour of being musical director of his 50th anniversary album and video, "50 golden years". Many a young act would love to have the amount of gold disks that guy had hung up at home, and those were in the days when you had to sell MILLIONS of copies to get one.
